Finnegans

Finnegansa revels-style show based on
the work of Moliere

Davinci Arts Middle School

Max Schofer Makes WorldWide Acting debut.

According to Play Director Mr. Beckett, Max improvised a few lines on The Friday night show which came across seamless. It is either the art form of an experienced actor, a case of first time jitters or as his play wife said. "He didn't have all his lines memorized.

Max delivered some difficult lines with a well placed French accent. He will be grounded for brandishing a gun on stage where he induced
a man in love to settle it by a dual by firearm. He nailed the sing songy voice of a Frenchman trying to speak English. And in a moment that is sure to got a Tony nod he recovered well when his hat unexpectedly rolled off the stage.

It was great to see him so happy after the play. He was happy to see his family and skate church buddies after the play. Special thanks to John, galfrind, Jeff and Josiah for making it out today. You skate church people are a big influence on him.

Davinci does such a great job putting on plays. The play held the attention of the audience throughout and had some moments of hilarity. The dream scene at the end of the first set was especially interesting and original.  Only at Davinci could they pull off a play that required French, German and Irish accents. Thumbs up to Tom Beckett for his direction in Davinci plays. They are a cut above. And special thanks to him for being a teacher that has made a difference on Max.
